INTERNATIONAL
Customs Charges
International customers are responsible for any duties and/or taxes that may be imposed on the item on arrival at the destination country. Rachel has no control over these charges.
Work shipped outside the UK will be sent via insured postage. The commercial invoice will have Terms of Sale as- CIP (•CIP Carriage and Insurance Paid To).
“Carriage and Insurance Paid To” means that the seller delivers the goods to the carrier or another person nominated by the seller at an agreed place (if any such place is agreed between parties) and that the seller must contract for and pay the costs of carriage necessary to bring the goods to the named place of destination.
The seller also contracts for insurance cover against the buyer’s risk of loss of, or damage to, the goods during the carriage. The buyer should note that under CIP the seller is required to obtain insurance only on minimum cover. Should the buyer wish to have more insurance protection, they will need either to agree as much expressly with the seller or to make their own extra insurance arrangements.
Parcels take between 3 and 7 days, depending on destination. Postal addresses must be accurate and complete. All payments must be received and authorized before shipment.
International customers are responsible for any duties and/or taxes that may be imposed on the item on arrival at the destination country. REW has no control over these charges.
If your jewellery or silverware is damaged in transit or faulty when it arrives, you must notify REW within 7 days. Our team will then contact you about the next stage.
We will only accept back jewellery in its original unworn condition. Failure to do this will mean that REW is unable to accept returned goods. Refunds are solely at the discretion of REW.
In the interests of fraud prevention, your refund will be issued by the same method that you paid within 28 days of receipt of the return.
A parcel that is being returned from outside the UK is the buyer's responsibility to ensure taxes, duties and postage are paid and it arrives at our address safely. It MUST be returned using an insured signed for delivery service. Please take care when packaging parcels up for return. All we ask is that you make sure items are well packed so that they will be protected during transportation.
